Slow Burn Exhibition

Slow Burn explores the environment and the impact of industrial heritage on the land. Local artists Tim Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Luke Thompson, and Rose Wheeler have drawn inspiration from Langcliffe Quarry’s unique landscape, immersing themselves in the site’s rich history and natural surroundings. Their diverse responses though painting, drawing, poetry, and photography capture and celebrate the beauty of Langcliffe Quarry and its historical significance.
