Yorkshire Day Celebration

Join us on Saturday  August 1st, Yorkshire Day, to celebrate the magnificence of God’s Own County! 

Join us at the Canal Basin for lots of fun activities.

This year, visitors can expect to see a petting zoo, Morris Dancers, circus tricks, crazy golf, a surf simulator, giant games, arts, crafts, live music and more…

The celebrations are once again set to be held on the Canal Basin and the adjacent Coach Street Car Park from 10am until around 7pm with the extension of the live music offer.

Delicious food and refreshing drinks will be on offer from a range of different vendors across the day. They will be located on the Basin area with a more relaxed vibe, with the games, activities and performances to be set within the neighbouring Car Park.
