Trans Pennine Run

Skipton will once again host the final stop of the historic Trans Pennine Run on Sunday August 2nd 2026.

This much‑loved event brings a wonderful collection of pre‑2005 commercial vehicles to the town, offering visitors a unique glimpse into transport heritage.

The run begins at Birch Services before travelling across the Pennines and arriving at Craven Cattle Market in late morning.

Visitors can look forward to seeing an impressive display of vintage buses, classic trucks and beautifully restored commercial vehicles.

A vintage shuttle bus will operate between Skipton town centre and the Cattle Market, making it easy for visitors to enjoy the event and explore the town’s shops, cafés and attractions.
