TRACES: Get Inspired. Write a short Story
In this workshop we will take an imaginative walk through a familiar landscape, recalling memories related to place to craft a short story.
Using psychogeography as a well-established literary technique, you will be directed to create impactful new work. With reference to classic literature, we will experiment with free-form writing, and explore the ways in which grammar, structure and editing generate literary style.
This taster workshop will provide a starting point from which to develop and refine your short story idea in your own time.
