The Great Santa Fun Run Skipton
The Great Santa Fun Run is back in Skipton for 2025!
The event is a charity run and walk organised by Rotary in Skipton (Skipton Craven Rotary & Skipton Rotary) and supported by Skipton Town Council
It normally takes place on the last Sunday in November, and is a precursor to the Christmas Lights switch on later on in the day! This year it will be held on Sunday, November 30th.
Last year, the 15th Great Skipton Santa Fun Run, saw the streets of Skipton turned red by 2266 Santas, running, walking and wheel-chairing 5km or 3km routes, starting from Skipton High Street and taking in Aireville Park and Skipton Woods before finishing back on the High Street, to raise money for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and other local charities
In 2024, they raised a whopping £63,585, including sponsorship and anonymous donations and £5,600 from monies raised by and sent direct to participants’ nominated charities.
