From Epiphany to Candlemas: a recital of liturgical music by the choir of St Margaret’s Church Ilkley
This concert is a celebration of church music from the feasts of Epiphany (January 6) to Candlemas (February 2), a rich liturgical season focussing on revelation and light.
St Margaret’s choir is a working choir of young people and adults which regularly sings the liturgy in its home church, and they are generously lending their voices to sing this wonderful music in order to raise funds for the carbon-neutral project at St Augustine’s Church, Draughton. With the intention of achieving carbon neutrality by 2025, this church is first of all raising money to insulate its roof.
This is a free event but donations are requested to support the good cause.
