Build your own Cigar Box Guitar!

Come and join us for this unique event and learn about the history of the Cigar Box Guitar. The humble cigar box guitar, an unlikely instrument has a surprisingly rich and diverse history which can trace its roots back to 19th-century America.

In this workshop which runs for approximately 2 hours. you will get to make your very own electric CBG. All your materials will be supplied and is open to all ages with no prior skills required. You will learn the origins of the CBG and some of the key players in the scene at the moment. You will then see a demonstration of different types of cigar box guitar and offer playing tips.
