Perspectives on Place

Short & Few Studio is preparing to open its first exhibition, Perspectives on Place, bringing together work by artists Matthew Magnus and Zöe Louise Platt alongside emerging artists from Craven College.

Taking place on 7 and 8 November 2026, the free exhibition will showcase printmaking, photography, collage and graphic works exploring how artists observe, record and respond to their surroundings.

Hosted at Crescent House on Keighley Road in Skipton, the exhibition marks a milestone for Short & Few Studio, a new artist-led space for making, learning and creative exchange.

Matthew Magnus will present Folded Ecologies, an ongoing exploration of landscape and materials through printmaking, photography and laser-cut pieces.

Zöe Louise Platt will exhibit Am I Still a Tourist?, a screen-printed artist’s book created during a residency in Valencia, Spain, in October 2026.

Joining them are Craven College students who have developed work through a collaborative project with Short & Few Studio, gaining experience of working with an arts organisation and exhibiting alongside practising artists.
