Craven Walkers

A Walking for Health group, we meet on Mondays in Skipton at 1.45pm at the Canal Basin, Coach Street for a 2pm start. An hour’s walk with a leader around the town followed by a chat over coffee afterwards. Longer walks offered each fortnight in the Dales using public transport or the community bus.

All ages (adults) and most abilities catered for: three grades of walks for “Strollers”, “Striders” or “Leg-stretchers”.

Some walks may be arranged for wheelchair users upon request. So, if you want to improve your health and wellbeing and meet friendly, like-minded people, come and join us.

Our booklet “24 Walks for Health in Skipton”, with some routes suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. About £3 from Skipton Information and Visitor Centre, on Coach Street, and other local booksellers or by contacting us direct.
