SUMMARY:Skipton Music Presents: Apollo Saxophone Quartet
DESCRIPTION:Formed in 1985 the Apollo Saxophone Quartet has enjoyed four decades at the forefront of the UK classical music scene, commissioning and premiering well over new 100 works.\nThis concert offers a show of two contrasting halves. The first set features five recent commissions from some of the most exciting new generation of UK composers.\nThe second half brings to Skipton Town Hall the Quartet’s acclaimed music with silent film project Journey Across the Impossible.
