DESCRIPTION:Skipton has had a puppet festival since 1997, growing from a handful of performances to a major event in the Craven area and Yorkshire region’s calendar, becoming a magnet for puppet enthusiasts.\nFor 2023 the Puppet Festival will take place from Wednesday 2nd to Sunday 6th August. A number of performances will be taking place at Skipton Town Hall.\nThere will be a full day of outdoor performances at the Canal Basin on Saturday 5th August with 9 shows from 3 different companies, in addition you will witness a large scale elephant puppet doing walkaround through the day!\nWatch this space for more information.\n
