SUMMARY:VaCO Easter Concert
DESCRIPTION:The talented, young musicians of Vacation Chamber Orchestras return to Christ Church, Skipton, on Saturday 15th April to perform a delightfully varied selection of chamber orchestra music, including Dr Richard Shephard’s ‘The Selfish Dragon’ (a work specially commissioned by VaCO), Mozart ‘A Musical Joke’ and works by Lalo, Martinu and Kelsey.\nFrench horn player, Benjamin Hartnell-Booth, who recently received his Masters in Performance with distinction from the RAM and has since been on trial with several of the country’s leading orchestras, will join the orchestra to perform the Dukas ‘Villanelle’.\nThe students, known throughout Yorkshire for their top-class performances, look forward to sharing this family friendly programme!\nTickets can be bought on the door from 7pm on concert day, or in advance online through Eventbrite:\nAdults £12.50, Students (with ID) £5, Under 18s free.\n
