DESCRIPTION:The Swing City Big Band is making an eagerly-awaited return to St Mary’s Church, Embsay with Eastby.\nMusic will include popular pieces from the swing era by Glenn Miller as well as more contemporary numbers. The Band comprises musicians from across Lancashire and Yorkshire and is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.\nProceeds from the concert will go to the church and its carbon zero fund.\nThe ticket price includes a glass of wine or hot drink and a mince pie in the interval.\nTickets can be bought from Peter Edwards: edwards@fullacott.plus.com\n \n
