DESCRIPTION:A locally sourced and Fairtrade two course feast, accompanied by two Fairtrade wines or optional soft drinks, hosted by the Skipton Fairtrade group at Skipton’s award-winning restaurant, Elsworth Kitchen. After enjoying a delicious dinner cooked by award- winning chef Bruce Elsworth, William Whitaker, Managing Director of Whitakers Chocolates, will tell the story of this family owned firm which has been producing luxury chocolates in Skipton since 1889. Nowadays all the chocolates made in Whitakers Skipton factory are Fairtrade and many are gluten-free and suitable for vegans. All are attractively packaged in as climate friendly a way as possible with improvements being made all the time. William’s wife Gemma is largely responsible for this.\nWilliam and Gemma will be bringing chocolate to taste and flavour guides so that we can make the most of the experience.
