DESCRIPTION:The next exhibition to take place at Mill Bridge Gallery is by Brian Burton. Brian has lived and worked in North Yorkshire as a painter and textile designer for over 30 years.\n‘Themes and variation’ is a popular musical form in which a composer states a melody and then repeats it several times with changes to create more interest and variety. In this instance Brian’s themes are local Yorkshire landmarks or, as he prefers “marks in the land”.\nEach image develops an idea presenting a different take on the subject.\nMill Bridge Gallery is open Thursday – Saturday 11am – 4pm\nOther times by appointment only.\n \n
