DESCRIPTION:Make, mend and learn together at our upcoming workshop led by Yarndale, where you’ll learn the art of visible mending and make your own colourful patch to repair or customise your well-loved clothes!\nInspired by our exhibition Designed for War and the Second World War’s Make Do & Mend campaign, this hands-on session will show you how to repurpose clothing using a simple weaving technique. You will also be shown how to attach your new patch using a hand sewing technique, so feel free to bring along your item of clothing you are wanting to mend or customise!\nNo experience is needed and all materials will be supplied.\nDuration:\n6.30pm – 8.00pm\nOther Yarndale Events…\nThere is a Family Make Do and Mend Together workshop taking place on the 30th May 2025, that is aimed at children 7 years and up.\n
